Upcoming workshops.
We team up with local home and garden experts to offer hands-on classes. Classes include supplies, light refreshments and are followed by flower picking with flower farmer Katy.
Each event is publicly held and has a max attendance of 20 seats. Classes open to adults and children age 9 and up. ESA funds accepted! Tickets sell fast once word gets out, so snag your spot in advance! If you have questions, please see the FAQ’s below the class schedule.

Workshop FAQs

Windmill Ranch is a 12-acre family Homestead dating back to the 1950s. The ranch is home to various outbuildings, barns, gardens, horse stables, and arena. The ranch has a history of horses, livestock, citrus, and most recently, flowers. Current generations are working to bring these past chapters back in living color. Your support allows us to preserve a piece of the old West. Workshops are seated, and take place under the shade of a covered hay barn.

Guests will park in the dirt arena on Windmill Ranch. All areas are easily accessible by standard vehicles (No special 4×4 needed). We appreciate carpooling, when possible.

Amenities at Windmill Ranch are limited. A Porta potty will be available for participants to use while on property during workshops and events.

The workshop includes 2-3 hours of instruction with hands-on activities and field access to cut from the flower garden when in bloom. Light refreshments are included. A tour of the outbuildings to learn flower handling and holding procedures can also be arranged, if desired.

Bring your signed waiver. Come dressed for an authentic ranch experience! Windmill Ranch is rustic and unpaved, so please come prepared to walk on gravel, get a little dusty, and step back in time for a serene experience. That means comfortable shoes and sun protection.

Private Workshops
Create a memorable experience and host your friends, family, business associates, etc., for a private flower workshop at Windmill Ranch! Flower Farmer Katy will walk the group through the flower garden, followed by a hands-on flower arranging experience.
Private Workshops FAQs

To book a private workshop, you must have at least 10 people in your group, with a max of 20 people.

Includes 2 hours in and around the garden picking a bouquet, leaning how to arrange, and an optional question/answer session about growing flowers in our unique climate.

The cost of the private workshop is $35 per person.

We Bring The Flower Party To You
We bring the flowers, vases, wreaths, and all the needed supplies to host a flower bar for your event OR lead a more intimate sit down workshop for you and your friends. Our fee starts at $45/person (minimum of 10 guests per event). There is a $40 travel fee for all events outside a 20-mile radius of the ranch, and $25 per 10 miles after.
