Honeybee Home owner, Katy Miller, has worn various hats in the business world. In 2007, she founded Primitive Beginnings, an online store specializing in primitives and bedding, which evolved into a gift and apparel store on Main Street in Ellicott City, Maryland. Katy has participated in Country Living fairs in Ohio and New York, and barn sales in rural MD. In 2017, Katy sold Primitive Beginnings, and a year later began Honeybee Home. Honeybee Home celebrates interior design, specifically vintage, industrial, and upcycled goods. In 2019, Katy produced The Hive Market, a seasonal vendor event to celebrate all that is vintage and handmade. Katy moved operations to her home state of Arizona in 2022 and changed focus to growing cut flowers on her family’s 12-acre homestead. She hopes to integrate many of her past ventures here and grow operations to include multi-faceted events on the ranch.
