A Frederick Holiday

Honeybee Home worked behind the scenes at Chartreuse and Company to gussy up the grounds for what would be another amazing retail event at the beautiful Crum Family residence. From hanging giant green holiday baubles, to choosing six foot posters for the barns, to creating a starry night for customers to enjoy at check out, the theme for this 2020 event was ‘BIG’!

Go big or go home! Katy made giant chartreuse baubles from therapy balls and cake pans for a bigger than life holiday experience. Suspending them from the tree tops was an experience all its own!

A 6′ poster of Mary was chosen to highlight the Chartreuse & Company big white barn.

One of my favorite parts of Honeybee Home is working with local artists to create amazing one of a kind pieces for our customers. Honeybee Home prides itself on offering unique gifts and home décor that can’t be found elsewhere. Case in point, this vintage original oil painting found at a thrift store gets a new lease on life from the talents of Emily of Letters by LeVault. This piece was sold at the Chartreuse & Company winter market, 2020.

It was a family affair with oldest daughter, Ella, helping to hang the old piano roll paper and youngest, Andrew, helping with ground decorations.

Andrew especially enjoyed meeting Santa’s reindeer!
